Amy Elisa Ruark is from Massillon, Ohio and has spent the last 15 years in Metro Detroit.  She graduated from Malone College in 1987 with a B.A. in English and a minor in Biology.  She completed her Biology degree in 1998.  Amy graduated from Ave Maria School of Law, Ann Arbor in 2006.

While working as a clerk for the Michigan Attorney General, Children and Youth Services, Detroit she gained experience in Child Abuse/Neglect cases and procedures.  The experience fueled her passion in advocating for children's best interests.

As a Faculty Research Assistant at Ave Maria, Amy researched and assisted with ethics course materials, as well as assisted a faculty member with numerous publications.

Amy has extensive experience helping vulnerable people, including seniors and children.  She has been an active participant in volunteer organizations throughout her lifetime.  Her compassion and life experiences facilitate her in assisting her clients.  Amy's practice specialties include probate and estate issues, as well as children's law and family law.
